I enrolled at Lehigh County Community College and earned and associate degree from there. After that, I enrolled at Kutztown University where I graduated magna cum laude which is the second highest, in 1995. I always liked working with children and that is why I decided to teach kinder garden though fifth grade. I worked part-time so I could pay for my schooling and commuted back and forth everyday from my home in Bethlehem, Pa. It was a little grueling at times, but it sure paid off in the long run.
I now have a great job teaching with children. On the day of my graduation, December 1995, it snowed liked the devil. My family and I almost didn't make it to the services, but we endured and got there safe and sound. The last semester before I graduated, I spent in England near Liverpool. I got to do a lot of touring of all the sites there. I met up with a friend from where I was student teaching and drove about 800 miles all over England. We saw some of the famous castles and visited Stonehenge. What and weird place that was. It was cold, damp, foggy, and really spooky. We really had a great time.
My friend and I had a lot of fun touring England and hope I get to go back there the family my husband Dave and I are starting. Well, that is it for me. Kyle asked me if I could write a little something about myself for his school project so here it is. He is really a nice person (once you get to know him. Sorry Kyle?). Enjoy learning about the rest of the family.
